Context

As it is intertwined with the cosmos, memory and cinema, the subject of time flows through all of Lily's work dating back to projects developed in 1999 and 2000. Philosophical and phenomenological questions of time are specifically evoked in Time Slots (1999), Polar Time (2012), Seeking a Meridian (2011) and Displacement (2021). While the materiality of time is examined through multimedia and performative projects including First Love (2008), Ice Pendulum (2013), Paris Meridian Walk (2012), and Sydney Meridian Walk (2020).
