2006 to 2012



Memory has played an explicit role in many of Lily's works from earlier projects such as Endless Summer (2007) and Bordertown (2008). She has worked on numerous collaborations centred on residencies and research in communities and archives, called "memory projects", including for The Phone Booth Project (2012), Parragirls Memory Project (2012-2019), and the two Benevolent Asylum projects (2013).

This theme also runs through all of Lily’s experimental works, which are equally focused on memory as a subject and a medium, such as Coup de Soleil (2012), The Woman in the Bridge (2012), and Les Aimants (2013).
