Sleepwalker: dreams & cinema
Kings ARI, 2004

A sequence of translucent panels that represent cinematic dreams. This is a series of works exploring the relationship between film and dreams. Four real dreams are recreated in the style of four corresponding movies. This refers to the possibility that our dreams might be the unconscious product of films we have seen. The imagery is on large coloured perspex sheets, illuminated by theatrical lights that create the effect of stained glass windows. A single sequence of panels was displayed with moving theatre lights for this exhibition at Kings ARI.
